I am Natalie Henry-Charles, the owner of Pretty Peacock Paperie, a Winter Park, FL. based social stationery company. For the first seven years of Pretty Peacock's life, we focused on Custom Wedding and Event Invitations. After the birth of my daughter and a near-death-experience delivering her, I decided that life was too short to not celebrate all of life's moments both big and small. As a lover of all things art and beautiful, becoming a snarky Stationer was a natural choice for me. The evolution from custom to greeting cards and gifts was a hard decision, but a necessary one. Pretty Peacock Paperie began as a need and blossomed into a labor of love. With my background in Fashion, Design and Art History, I draw on all of my knowledge when designing for collections. Each card is drawn by myself for you and your loved ones. I feel so lucky to have been able to find something that I love as much as design and making people happy. I believe that my creativity is a mechanism that delivers happiness to my customers and their loved ones.
I am a wife. I have been married to my dream guy for a decade! Jeff is the my problem solver and tech-guru. He also helps me chase my dreams! Many times I have wanted to quit, but Jeff kept me going on this artistic journey.
I am a mother. I think it's only fair that you see who you are really supporting! These are my babies. Everything I do is for them. They inspire me to work hard! I want to show them that they can do anything they put their mind to.
I am an artist. For a long time I denied myself the joy of creating. I thought that motherhood would not allow me do to more than be a mom. This was not true and I am happiest when I am taking care of my family and creating art for YOU!
